MY happy Mother’s Day – Oklahoma City Children’s Photography

I’m REALLY enjoying the current ‘state of mommy life’ i’m in… Wes & Ewan are rather easy, AS WELL as quite funny, and to top it off they let me sleep in until 8:30, it completely rocks. I guess I imagined life as a mom kind of like this… We had a large party last night and the kids stayed up until nearly midnight i think. We had what seemed like 300 children running around (ok, maybe subtract the ZERO and it’s probably more accurate). But I love watching them, they sing and dance and break windows and chase each other around and drink too much Capri Sun (all while the adults are drinking too much….well, NOT Capri Sun). It was a really good time and every once in a while they check in for a hug or a favor with red cheeks and dirty feet, always excited about the next or past event that just took place. Every eighth minute, of the fifth hour, of every third week of the month I get tempted to have another little one, but two things always stop me, 1. YOUR CHILDREN, I get to hold new ones all the time, any baby ‘fix’ that may come about is always cured with a 3 hour newborn session… and 2. Life is TOO good with too much freedom, I travel, we have big parties, I actually ENJOY their sporting events, they will go anywhere at anytime with me, they counsel ME on how to treat the animals and let me know their dissaproval when I’m raising my voice a little too loud. And on a day like today where we are all going on little sleep from a good night prior I highly encourage comfort food for lunch and pajamas until you HAVE to change, sometimes that may mean the NEXT day. So this afternoon I came out of my closet to find them practicing all of their karate moves on my unmade bed. Pretty awesome stuff. SO, I can dress them up like image ONE, make them look like little models, but MOST of the time they run around in unmatched clothes, with bedhead until 4 pm with kool-aid mustaches… I love them, so today, I’m pretty thankful I get to partake in the celebration of mom’s day. They make my job pretty fun.
