Song Writing… (My SON KICKS A**)

So my Wes, who is really NOTHING like me is pretty darn smart… if i do say so myself. Clearly, he got his genes mostly from his father but every once in a while he surprises me with a big ol’ dose of creative genius. He’s 8.. and this is 4th song he’s written (remember TOO SLOW?). I have lost two of his songs (which is quite tragic) but he writes them then makes up entire music/harmony/melody (whatever they call it) to the lyrics. It’s brilliant. So.. he always tells me NOT to put stuff like this on my blog but since when do i let a dude tell me what to do?? ;) He’s so cute. And just for the record, I never knew he had LOST HIS ‘SWAGGA’…

I want to tell you a little story about somebody. i’m walking down the street.

people come and go, I know my feet want to explode.

people been talking about everything they know, they been talking something I know i wanta hear.

let’s see how I got my swagga back and every body knows, I got my swagga back it and it comes and goes

and I know that you know, I know that you know, that I’m great.

I know that youre not strong but let’s sing a little song.

Yes, it’s me and I just wanted to say I got my swagga back and every body knows.

I got my swagga back, it comes and goes.

I want to say one thing before I go that I know I got my swagga back

November 28, 2011 - 11:55 pm ana rocha - Dear Beth.... have to come and share this in here.... Just got my freebie from PPA which is DVD from Photovision... and watched you in Oklahoma.... ohhhh that brought me back in April/11. It was such a great learning curve for me...on how to work with the fish eye and how you can so easily make the kids turn your way... rather than their way! I finished watching your part... and as for tomorrow.... I have quite a different photoshoot with 16 ladies for a corporate office.... I will bring Beth Jansen in my thoughts as a source of inspiration and close to my heart cause I know... the lessons learned with the private mentoring were priceless and unique. Thank you Super BEth! please send my love to your beautiful family!! Ana
